Hello dear friends! We’ve received word from Fr. Steve.
He and Fr. Bill made it safely to the hospital for Fr. Steve’s treatments.
All went well yesterday. Fr. Steve will have another chemo appointment today and hopes to return home to St. Joseph’s on Saturday.
Another round of winter weather is expected to hit our area this weekend, so your extra prayers for their safe travels are appreciated!
Of course, all the support you’re showing for Fr. Steve’s continued healing also means so much to him. God bless!

At St. Joseph's Indian School, our privately-funded programs for Lakota (Sioux) children in need have evolved over 90 years of family partnership, experience and education. Because of generous friends who share tax-deductible donations, Native American youth receive a safe, stable home life; individual counseling and guidance; carefully planned curriculum based on Lakota culture and individual student needs and tools to help build confidence, boost self-esteem and improve cultural awareness. All of this helps children to live a bright, productive, possibility-filled future.

FATHER STEVE.
I’M GLAD ALL WENT WELL WITH THE TREATMENT. WATCH THAT SNOW, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! HA! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND. THE CLAPPER FAMILY!!!
Fr. Steve and Fr. Bill,
Safe travel home. We tried to have all the bad weather come to North Texas, but apparently we didn’t get it ALL!!
We continue to pray for strength for you as you fight this illness!
Lots of Prayers are being said here in Tennessee for healing as well as safety traveling for treatments. Spring will be here soon along with new healing and life renewed. God Bless. And, thank you for keeping us all posted.
Dear Father Steve,
I will keep you in my prayers and ask God to give you strength through your treatments and for a complete recovery. Having the prayers of the Lakota children will get you feeling better even sooner that usual. I know, I have had several prayers answered concerning the health of my family. When times were hard, I always reminded myself that the Lakota children were praying for my loved one. With their prayers and the prayers of family and friends like me, may you too be hopeful and confident as you cope with getting through all this. God Bless!
