St. Joseph’s Indian School was recently named a “2024 Top-Rated Nonprofit” for the eighth year running by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews of charities and nonprofits.
President Mike Tyrell says the recognition acknowledges the entire organization’s hard work and the faithful support of donors.
“We are honored by this recognition. Every day, our staff partners with Native American youth and their families to educate for life – mind, body, heart and spirit. This award acknowledges the dedicated work of so many made possible through the generosity of our donors,” he said.
The rating and number of reviews St. Joseph’s Indian School received from volunteers, donors and aid recipients are the basis for the Top-Rated Nonprofit Award.
One reviewer writes, “We recently attended a luncheon in Indianapolis, Indiana, with representatives and two lovely students from St. Joseph’s. It was wonderful. One of the students actually sat at our table and ate lunch with us. Their message is so uplifting. I have been donating for over 30 years, and it was special to actually meet the students.”
Executive Director of Development Kory Christianson says, “This comment is like those we hear from our donors all over the country and around the world. We are grateful we have their trust and the generosity of their support. Because of these individuals, we are able to provide for the education, health and wellbeing of our students.”
GreatNonprofits is the leading website where people share stories about their personal experiences with more than 1.6 million charities and nonprofits. The GreatNonprofits Top-Rated Awards are the only awards for nonprofits determined by those with direct experience with charities as donors, volunteers and aid recipients.
